Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what data Cyclips processes, why, on what legal basis, who we share it with and what rights you have.
Controller
The controller is Facundo Jose Escobar Cello, sole proprietor, with address at Via Giaime Pintor 1, 47924 Rimini (RN), Emilia-Romagna, Italy, operating the Cyclips brand. For any question about your data: support@cyclips.com.
Data we process
- Account and profile: name, email, login credentials, and the social media username and country you add to your profile.
- Notification contact: Telegram or another channel you use to receive Service notifications, if you use one.
- Content: the videos you upload or add by link, and the clips generated.
- What you write to the AI: your answers to the Service's questions, your creator profiles, the context of each video and your editing instructions, together with the AI's replies.
- Import record: when you add a video by link, we store the link, the video's public data (platform, title, channel, broadcast date and length), the date and time you accepted the Terms and declared your rights, and the IP address and browser you used.
- Purchases: payment data is processed by Creem as Merchant of Record. We never see or store your full card details: we only receive the data needed to activate your purchase, such as your email, the product and the payment status.
- Usage: hours purchased and used, storage used, clips generated and technical logs of how the Service runs.

Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your data. We only share it with:
- Creem (creem.io), our reseller and Merchant of Record, to process payments, taxes, invoices and refunds. It processes this data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, shown when you pay.
- Technical providers acting on our behalf under contract: hosting, video processing and AI video analysis, storage and email delivery.
- Authorities, when required by law, and the import record also in legal proceedings related to a copyright claim.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some providers may be located outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In those cases we rely on the safeguards provided by the GDPR: an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or the Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
- Account, profile and what you write to the AI: for as long as your account exists.
- Videos and clips: for as long as your account exists, or until you delete them. A video whose parts to analyse you never chose is deleted after 72 hours, with an email notice. You can ask us to delete them earlier by writing to support@cyclips.com.
- Import record: even if the video is deleted, for as long as a copyright claim about that video may arise.
- Purchases: Creem keeps them under its legal obligations; we keep billing records for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to support@cyclips.com: we reply within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali or with the data protection authority of your country.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or alteration. No system is infallible and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies
We only use the technical cookies needed for your session to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. We measure site traffic with a cookieless tool that produces aggregate statistics and cannot identify you.
Minors
The Service is not directed at minors and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. Important changes will be announced in the Service or by email.
